VP Plastics and Engineering Moves to New Facility
WAUKEGAN, IL – Clayton Bolke, Chief Executive Officer of The Visual Pak Companies, today announced the move of their thermoforming packaging and engineering operations, VP Plastics and Engineering, to a new facility at 1270 S. Waukegan Road, Waukegan IL 60085.
The new facility more than doubles the thermoforming, tool design, and tool manufacturing space of their previous location. “Our investments in innovation and automation are fueling the growth of our company. We are excited to expand our thermoforming capacity and capabilities to support the needs of our customers and growing demand for thermoform packaging,” said Bolke.
With a diverse nationwide customer base, the centrally located Midwest operation thermoforms blisters, clamshells, trapped blisters, and trays for the retail and industrial markets. “The new location puts our contract manufacturing, contract packaging, logistics, and Midwest distribution center facilities all within two minutes of each other which further allows us to provide streamlined, vertically integrated packaging solutions and reduce transportation costs,” said Tim Koers, Chief Operating Officer of The Visual Pak Companies.
